Chat and voice channels: LINE, Teams and phone
These three channels all put the agent where people already are, but they differ in what they can carry. LINE and Teams are text-first with rich message formatting; a phone call gives you no formatting at all but reaches someone who is driving. Pick per audience, and note that each channel needs its own credentials.
LINE
/** "Remind me to call Mom when I get home" β sent via LINE message */
Step 1: Setup LINE Developer Console
Step 2: Configure OpenClaw
// π Security Note: To prevent strangers from using your bot, OpenClaw will only respond to the User IDs listed in your 'allowed_users' configuration.
Go to LINE Developers Console, create a new Provider, then create a 'Messaging API' channel.
Under the 'Messaging API' tab, scroll down to issue a long-lived 'Channel access token'.
Under the 'Basic settings' tab, copy the 'Channel secret'.
Set the webhook URL to your OpenClaw public endpoint (e.g., https://your-server.com/webhooks/line) and enable 'Use webhook'.
Microsoft Teams
/** @openclaw summarize today's channels β works in any Teams workspace */
